Round bolsters give the broad, curved support used under the spine and knees in restorative sequences; rectangular bolsters provide a flat, stable platform for supported backbends, savasana and seated work; contoured and half-moon shapes target lumbar and neck support. We cut and sew to your pattern, so a custom silhouette can be sampled and produced rather than substituted from a catalogue shape.
Firmness You Can Specify, Not Guess
Firmness is engineered, not incidental. It is set by the combination of fill type, fill weight and inner-case construction — polyester fibre for a resilient loft that springs back, buckwheat hull in a zippered refillable case for a dense, moulding weight that practitioners can adjust, or a wrapped foam core for the rigid support that therapy clinics ask for. Removable, Washable Cover with Reinforced Seams
The cover unzips fully for laundering, and the zipper is hidden along a seam so nothing presses into the body during a long hold. Seams are double-stitched and stress points bar-tacked, because the failure point on a cheap bolster is almost always the seam — not the fabric.
Built for Studio-Duty Laundering
Studio bolsters are wiped down or washed far more often than home ones. We specify cover fabrics and constructions that hold colour and shape through repeated commercial laundering, with optional wipe-clean PU covers for high-rotation studio use and a compressed shipping option to cut volumetric freight cost on bulky units.
